Title: Financial Crises
Description: In this course we will use economic theory and empirical evidence to study the causes of financial crises and the effectiveness of policy responses to these crises. Particular attention will be given to some of the major economic and financial crises in the past century and to the crisis that began in August 2007.
Prerequisites: ECO 310 and ECO 202 or equivalent.
