Title: Advanced Topics in Computer Science: Systems for Large Data
Description: Readings of recent research results on building storage and search systems for very large datasets. Focus on systems issues such as storage architecture, deduplication, reliability and content-based search system issues for unstructured, non-text document data, i.e., images, audio, video, and scientific data types. Students will also work in groups on small research projects.
