First law: energy conservation in open and closed systems. Second law: temperature, entropy and reversibility. Thermodynamic properties of pure substances and mixtures. Phase equilibrium and introduction to reaction equilibrium. Introduction to the microscopic and statistical basis of thermodynamics.
