Title: Extragalactic Astronomy
Description: This course is an overview of basic and current extragalactic research, both observational and theoretical, including discussions of the formation, morphology, chemical and dynamical evolution, structure, and space distribution of galaxies, clusters of galaxies and quasars. The emphasis of the course is on the connection of theoretical ideas and observational data. Several self-contained subtopics will be covered by guest lecturers.
