| Title | Problems in Late Antique and Byzantine Art and Architecture |
| Description | Seminar considers Byzantine aesthetics and related roblems in historiography" and coincides with the exhibition "Architecture as Icon", on view at the PUAM from March 6 to June 6, 2010. Course explores a wide range of issues, such as 'symbols in art', 'spiritual seeing', 'representation of space', 'two-dimensionality' vs. 'three-dimensionality', etc. Examination of relevant texts as well as of objects on display in the exhibition provides a unique opportunity for such an undertaking. |
