Emphasis is given to the analysis of "sacred space" by means of architecture, painted and sculptural decoration, as well as ritual performances. The course will familiarize students with the conceptual character of medieval art and architecture, various topics of Christian iconography, and to the historiographic aspects of the discipline. |
