Title Public Leadership and Public Policy
Description This course will review key Presidential policy decisions on issues such as the Iraq wars, the Watergate tapes, the Voting Rights Act and the Cuban missile crisis, and will consider the ethical, legal, and operational frameworks for effective, responsible public leadership. Students will review relevant literature from history, psychology and politics, discuss the central policy issues in each case, and evaluate the decision-making process in view of these frameworks.
